Sebasticook Valley Health (SVH) recently learned that it has been recognized in three categories by Avatar Solutions (formerly Avatar International LLC and HR Solutions International Inc.), which provides SVH with patient, employee, and physician surveys.
Acknowledging consistently high standards of patient care, SVH has been awarded the following honors for 2012:
• Exemplary Service - Most Improved - Ambulatory Surgery
• Exceeding Patient Expectations
• Exemplary Service - Most Improved - Loyalty and Endorsement - Ambulatory Surgery
Acting CEO Terri Vieira said, “This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our employees, medical staff, and board of trustees who have worked tirelessly to ensure our hospital’s quality goals are met and exceeded each year. Since our first Avatar award in 2003, SVH has strived to remain on target with our efforts in making patient satisfaction our top priority.”
Chief Medical Officer Robert J. Schlager, MD, stated, “At SVH, we all work as a team to continually improve our quality and safety standards for all of the patients and families we serve. This allows us to do the right thing for the right person at the right time.”
