At SVH, we recognize how challenging it can be for our patients to get to appointments safely and conveniently. This is why we offer a free transportation service to and from SVH, SVH Rehabilitation Services (at either our Pittsfield or Newport locations), SVH Specialty Physicians, and SVH Family Care for scheduled appointments.
Our courtesy van driver is trained in safe driving techniques and is CPR certified. Our driver is required to call 9-1-1 if a patient is in extreme distress, or is having chest pains. (This service is not intended to replace ambulance services.)
As long as you live in the SVH service area or are traveling from an SVH medical care provider, the courtesy van can bring you to SVH and give you a ride home between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4 PM.
