Valley Arts Alliance Displays Spring Artwork at SVH

Members of the Valley Arts Alliance installed the second exhibit in a series of four installations at Sebasticook Valley Health (SVH) in Pittsfield. SVH and Valley Arts Alliance are partnering to provide a rotating exhibit for the enjoyment of staff, visitors and patients alike. The exhibits will feature works by various Arts Alliance artists throughout the year, with the theme of “Seasons.”


SVH President/CEO and EMHS Senior Vice-President Terri Vieira commented, “SVH is honored to offer an opportunity for the local artists to showcase original artwork. These beautiful prints and paintings bring local colors and images to our community hospital. Patients, visitors, and staff will enjoy the new displays as much as I have.”

The works, by local artists Jeanne Finley, Terri DeNatale and Linda Miller, are spring images of flora and fauna. The artwork will be on display through mid-June when the exhibit will transition to summer-themed artwork.

Accredited by the Joint Commission, SVH comprises a progressive 25-bed, critical access hospital and a wide range of outpatient services throughout the region. SVH is a member of Eastern Maine Healthcare System (EMHS).
