SVH Elects New Chair and Vice Chair to Board of Trustees
 

 

At its recent annual meeting, Sebasticook Valley Hospital (SVH) elected John Delile as Chair and Michael Hodgins as Vice Chair of its board of trustees.  Immediate past board Chair is Charles Cianchette who was honored at the event for his years of service to the organization.

 

John Delile has been on the SVH board since 2005.  He is Dean of Finance and Administration at Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC) in Fairfield.   KVCC, which is regionally and nationally accredited, is one of Maine's seven community colleges offering degrees and certificates in twenty-six programs of study, including those in the field of healthcare.  Delile has over thirty years of executive finance and administration experience in post-secondary education, national and international corporations, and the state housing authority.  His experience also includes financial planning, human resources administration, physical plant operations and organizational operations.  Mr. Delile earned his masters and bachelors degrees in business administration from Thomas College in Waterville.  He and his wife Karen reside in Waterville.

 

Michael Hodgins is an attorney and manager of Bernstein Shur's Augusta office.  He practices in general civil litigation including personal injury and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.  His practice also includes representation of clients in land use matters, including appeals and enforcement of local ordinances.  Hodgins earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law and his bachelors degree in government modified with sociology from Dartmouth.  He is a member of the Maine and Kennebec Bar Associations, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.  He currently serves as president of the Maine Central Institute board in Pittsfield and the president of Your Choice, Inc.  He and his wife Michelle and their children live in Pittsfield.

 

Serving as SVH Board of Trustees Secretary is John C. May, SVH President/Chief Executive Officer.  Randall Clark, SVH Vice President of Finance serves at Board Treasurer.
