Somerset Surgical Associates Administrator Michael Peterson recently announced that the Bangor office of surgeon Wassim Mazraany, MD, FACS, will be moving. Beginning July 9th, Dr. Mazraany will see patients at a new location, Suite 204 at the Webber Building at Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC) in Bangor, which is more convenient for patients seeking surgical care in Bangor.
"We're grateful to have an office space that is both on the EMMC campus and is convenient for Dr. Mazraany's Bangor area patients to go for appointments," stated Mr. Peterson. "With his Bangor office moving from the fourth floor to the second floor in the Webber Building, Dr. Mazraany's patients will find the new location more accessible." Patients who see Dr. Mazraany in Detroit will be unaffected by this Bangor office relocation.
Since 2002, Mazraany has seen patients at two offices locations - one in Bangor and another in the Sebasticook Valley region. Dr. Mazraany specializes in general surgery and advanced laparascopic procedures. Dr. Mazraany is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and has privileges at both EMMC and SVH, which are member hospitals within Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS). EMHS members work together to bring quality healthcare to the residents of Maine.
